Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education & Dietetics (In Progress)
Kyle is a student at the University of New Mexico where he is dual majoring in Community Health Education and Dietetics. He is also the Project Coordinator at the Institute for Indigenous Knowledge and Development at UNM’s Health Science Center. With his passion to address health disparities in Native American populations, Kyle is conducting research work in Adverse Childhood Experiences in relation to health outcomes. When he is not working, studying, or researching, Kyle enjoys trail running high in the Sandia Mountains, road-biking the many trails of Albuquerque and surrounding areas, or swimming in the few pools of New Mexico. Kyle plans to continue his education further into graduate school in community and public health. Furthermore, one thing Kyle enjoys most about working for UNM’s IIKD is the communities he works with and will be working with.
