How to Volunteer
IIKD periodically extends opportunities for high school and university students interested in volunteering their time for the purpose of gaining experience while giving back to Indigenous communities. The range of opportunities can vary depending on our projects.
Examples of volunteer activities include:
- Note-taking during community meetings and events
- Registering and checking-in participants for events
- Assisting with logistical tasks for research and/or community health assessment
- Participating in IIKD sponsored meetings and events
- General clerical duties
